Tax Day (Tea Party) Demonstrations by the Numbers

Two dozen tea-baggers showed up to protest in Lincoln today.

Another 300-500 showed up in Omaha this afternoon.

Over 700 letters in support of the stimulus were collected and delivered to Sens. Nelson and Johanns last week by the League of Conservation Voters in Omaha.

Over 1,500 people came to the Omaha office opening for the Obama camp last year.

This stat is worth mentioning too:

Barack Obama was elected with 53% of the vote by 69.5 million Americans.

That's something I'd like to remind the woman who yelled: "No Taxation Without Representation" when I drove by the "protest" about 15 minutes ago. Elections have consequences -- you lost.

Now stop acting like you live in some pre-revolution, anti-democratic, pro-facisim country.
